My first camera was a 126 Kodak Instamatic (circa 1964). It set me back a whopping $15.95.
Fond memories of the week-long wait for the pictures to be developed, only to find out that one … maybe two … (out of the 24 photos) were worth doing something with.
Realized, after many moves, that I still possess every single photo that I have ever taken and I cringe every time I walk by the gigantic blue plastic bins that hold them.
Even though I said I wasn’t going to make a New Year’s resolution, it may be wise to organize my bins of photographs or someday they’ll end up in an antique store cigar box, marked 25¢ each.
I’ll let you know how it goes.
Happy Holidays!
