Wonders Never Cease

Hippies Use Side Door
Who says people don’t read or follow directions!

Closing the brick & mortar must have given me all the inspiration I needed to learn how to build my online shop. Bye, bye Etsy … it’s been real.

Besides, it took Sylvester Stallone 10 years to get Rocky on the big screen. I beat him by 2 years. Insert me patting myself on the back here. I did it!

Watch for NEW items added daily and hope you’ll check it out @ www.225waterstreet.com

Buying something and/or sharing the shop with family and friends is a bonus and always appreciated!

Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous

You can't attract something you're resisting.

Not really sure how my online holiday shopping turned into a fantasy gift game (with an unlimited budget) but it was quite therapeutic.

I visited Rolex, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Tiffany, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Burberry, Harry Winston and of course the ridiculous but very fun Neiman Marcus Christmas Book.

Spent around $10,000 virtual dollars and became bored with the ability to buy anything I wanted.

Guess I’m not the norm. Maybe you lose that deep yearning for stuff as you age.

If you’re spending more than you have, try virtual shopping as a cheap way to get that dopamine rush without seeing a bill.

Spring Cleaning

Hope they find good homes.

My current mantra … “If I start acting like spring is on its way … it will arrive sooner.”

So I’ve decided to start to compartmentalize.

Love that word … compartmentalize!

I’ll admit to not pronouncing the word the way it’s intended to sound, but I do love the idea of it.

I’ve been working really hard to put all of my stuff into neat little organized groupings and find myself wondering why it still looks so messy around here.

Less is so much more appealing to me right now. Guess that happens with age.

On my quest to simplify my surroundings, I’ve decided to start selling some of the vintage things that I’ve cherished for a good part of my life.

Over the last few months, I’ve been trudging my way around the world of ecommerce. Selling my artwork, mosaic tile supplies and a collection of vintage goods online. It’s been an enlightening experience and I’m thankful that I am finally getting comfortable with the process.

My only hope is to get over the feeling I get when someone buys something and I find myself having second thoughts about letting it go:)
