And remember, no matter where you go, there you are. ~Confucius
Monday is my only day off.
That doesn’t mean that I don’t sit in front of my computer and try to accomplish one of my many tasks, before I go about my day.
Once I get in the car to start errands, thrift store shop, go to Target or lunch with one of my kids…I find myself feeling guilty that I’m not doing a million other things. Until yesterday. My goal was to clear my mind and just go along with the day. Chopping wood and carrying water, so to speak!
It’s a 25 minute drive to the Twin Cities from Jordan, Mn. so you have plenty of time to think…that is of course, if you don’t answer the phone and keep the radio turned off.
My surrendered minutes brought me to a place that I needed to go. I focused my thoughts and removed the guilt of doing nothing, just to give myself a chance to celebrate all that I am. Just me.
So who is this girl/woman/being named Mara?
