A Blank Canvas

blank canvas
“The world is but a canvas to the imagination.” — Henry David Thoreau

It doesn’t matter if you’re staring at the beginning of a grocery list, work/school related report, Facebook/Twitter status, pending art project, or an empty room with four white walls.

It’s blank.

It’s a canvas.

Your brain still has to conjure up a creative list of ideas, tools and motions that are needed to fill the canvas.

I guess the excuse that I keep hearing from people … “I’m really not that creative” … seems a little silly … doesn’t it?
