iShoot therefore iAm

vintage cameras
You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.

My first camera was a 126 Kodak Instamatic (circa 1964). It set me back a whopping $15.95.

Fond memories of the week-long wait for the pictures to be developed, only to find out that one … maybe two … (out of the 24 photos) were worth doing something with.

Realized, after many moves, that I still possess every single photo that I have ever taken and I cringe every time I walk by the gigantic blue plastic bins that hold them.

Even though I said I wasn’t going to make a New Year’s resolution, it may be wise to organize my bins of photographs or someday they’ll end up in an antique store cigar box, marked 25ยข each.

I’ll let you know how it goes.

Happy Holidays!
