do you grind the edges of the sharp glass, or leave as broken?
Hi Joann, Sorry for the delay … summer vaca;) I don’t grind the edges anymore but I do make sure to trim all of the sharp edges with a wheeled nipper.
Reblogged this on gathered and glued and commented:

I Love your work! I have an old window and want to do a glass on glass project with it. What glue do I use? Did you just use any glass pieces like dishes and ash trays etc.? How did you get the small broken pieces?
E6000 😎 cut them 😉
Thank you so much, Eileen.
The piece is so heavy how do you recommend hanging it?
It leans in the window frame but you can bolt it with heavy hinges.
Beautiful, will you be grouting them, or leaving them as is?
I’ll just leave it as is … these pieces can get pretty heavy and grouting them will only make it heavier … plus it blocks out the light;)
I’ve never seen anything like that! It’s beautiful. It would be amazing in a garden. I guess I have to start collecting glass now.
You go girl! 🙂
