Haven’t unwrapped my artwork – which, by the way, looked a heck of a lot smaller in the brick and mortar.
If the moving gods weren’t good to me, so be it … I have glue and a garbage can.
Shoulda, coulda, woulda, but didn’t take a photo of the vintage Mackinac Island souvenir dish that I used in this piece. It was a cutie. Maybe next time. 😉
The Mackinac Island mosaic tile incense holder was created using brilliant blue ceramic tile, glossy white ceramic tile, silver tapestry tile, vintage blue china, white vintage china, a vintage Mackinac Island souvenir dish, gold glass gems, red glass gems, four square iridescent blue glass feet, stick incense holder and a red glass heart. All securely glued and grouted to to a 3/4″ thick MDF board that measures 4″ inches wide x 9″ inches long.
This piece has been added to the all new *Balsam Studio shop on Etsy – * use to be 225 Water Street for many moons.
Before attempting to empty the 2 storage lockers full of stuff, it’s probably a good idea to list the art and vintage that is already unpacked and ready to find a new home. #ourkidswillthankmeforthis 😉
#1 – Item of the Day is “Golden Girl“ a beloved mosaic tile stick incense holder that was created with gorgeous iridescent tile, gold tapestry tile, gold shimmer tile and a vintage porcelain flora figurine with ladybug. Glued on to 3/4″ MDF board and then finished off with taupe sanded grout and sealed. One of a kind. Shop.
