Unpacking has become a way of life, until it isn’t.
When I found the tile to finish this piece, my wish was granted.
The top of my dresser and I thank you.
#1. Has to be Marlene Hurley Marshall author of the book “Making Bits & Pieces Mosaics” – Circa 1998 – all it took was a few pages to inspire me to glue objects, china and glass. The book is out of print but copies are still available online.
I couldn’t get enough of her bits and pieces mosaic tile table and ended up creating a few of my own.
Look for Marlene’s book … you’ll love it.
#2. My fourth grade teacher Mrs. Kloth who loved sharing her passion for art, found objects and glue.

Quite a mixed bag, if I do say so myself.
