Peace of Santa

The Santa head sat in a jar, with other doll heads, until he went on to become a part of this beloved Mosaic Tile Holiday Sign created during a mosaic tile class of the past.

This peace was created with a bit of vintage china, glass gems, glass hearts, pennies and a little peace of Santa all glued and grouted on to a vintage wood sign with a hanger.

Peace of Santa is an older chap who has led a gently loved life – with some minor bumps but not bruises –  and the finished peace measures approximately 8″ inches long x 4″ wide x 1″ deep with a built-in wire hanger and black painted back. On Sale Now!

Proceeds from this peace will be donated to a local food shelf in the North Country. Thank you.

At Home With Andrew and Renee

The shop was closed, again, so Renee knocked on the side door and said, “we’ve been here before … you were closed and we see that you’re closed again but … I just have to have one of the pieces in the front window … can we please come in?

They were both like little kids in a candy store and then Renee said, “I must have a piece of your art because I can feel all of the love and the light shining through.”   Me too.

Touched beyond belief and all I can say is that this big beautiful universe, wearing a straw hat, is hard at work on my behalf.

Thank you, Andrew & Renee! You made my day;)

The Best Things

The best things in life are nearest:  Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you.  Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life’s plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.  ~Robert Louis Stevenson
