Photo of the Day | Photography 101 Glass

Haven’t had time to follow the photo challenge protocol, but the glass theme prompted me to pull a few photo’s from past glass projects.

It all started with a clean work table (something you don’t see everyday) and an amazing vintage window that Miss Tilly gifted to me.

Perfect size for the bedroom window.

Arranged a bunch of my hoarded glass to the window.

finding a new home.

Glued the glass down and let it dry flat for a couple of days.

Vintage window for the boys room.

Patting myself on the back for taking photos of the progress.

Plus+++ … as a special bonus … this window fit perfectly in the loo.

Vintage window with Glass on Glass mosaic.

Charlie thinks we should get back to gluing.  I do too.

Good Times

Looking back …

two dogs and a camera

Once upon a time, I collaborated on a mosaic tile dog house – to be donated for auction to support the good work at – with the late Eleanor Mondale.

With only 3 weeks to complete – with a weeks notice – a friend of Eleanor’s built the dog house frame and I tiled animal related tschotskes and china to the massive dog house that could fit one of Eleanor’s miniature horses in it.  The finished dog house weighed in at 300 pounds and was sold to the highest bidder.

Thoughts Per Hour

Humans have 50,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day … that’s a minimum of 2000 thoughts per hour.

It’s exhausting to think about and with so much thinking going on, it’s surprising that we can get anything done.

At the time, this is what I was thinking about. ;)-
