Wishful Thinking

Don’t be silly, you never know, even if you think you know, you still don’t know.

We’re all wishful thinkers and I’m pretty sure every wish – good or bad – appears as requested with a side of not so fast buster.

No problem …

Although the studio build is moving at a much slower pace than we planned, it’s been a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch Rob conquer every single trade that’s necessary to finish building this place in a perfect sleeping with the enemy kind of way … extraordinary. Not kidding and he knows it.

It turns out that living by the where there’s a will, there’s a way theory, even though the budget shrunk, looks pretty, pretty good … as always, somethings never change.

Dear Rob, you are my density. 😉

Such fun. Buzzy Potatoe

Design Plan

Winter delayed the build.
The cost of materials doubled.
The budget remains the same.
Go.

Bathroom Sinks

Didn’t have a ton of time to pick out the bungalow bathroom sink and thought I hit pay dirt with this one.

Win some, lose some … when you install a footed vanity or have a bottom shelf that hugs the bathroom floor – right next to the toilet – cleaning is impossible, especially under a vanity … and how does an open shelf get that filthy one day to the next?  Beyond disgusting. Pass, this will not stand, man.

Think pedestal sink, built-in vanity (minus the feet) or a wall hung sink for extra freshness. The end.
