Enough

The online shop seemed like a great idea – took thousands of hours to design – only to find out that I’d be spending most of my time fighting off hackers and thieves … enough is enough … hard pass … life doesn’t have to feel this icky … you can find the shop on Etsy.

Mean people suck.

Speaking of liars, hackers and thieves … okay, I won’t.

Boxes and Bubble Wrap

“What is happening to me happens to all fruits that grow ripe.
It is the honey in my veins that makes my blood thicker, and my soul quieter.”  ― Friedrich Nietzsche … especially if I’m lucky enough to have the right size box and bubble wrap. 😉

The shop is in full swing and I’m on pace to sell and/or donate at least 1/2  of one storage locker. Woo hoooo! Thank you to all who have stopped and shopped!

Recently listed this gorgeous pair of tile pears. My original idea was to glue them on to something but that was decades ago.  They may be handmade Italian pottery – maybe not – and they can be used as drink coasters or wall art. Beautiful Pair of Pears Tile Drink Coasters – Wall Art. Artist unknown. This Pair of Pears looks like they were created on gorgeous … looks like handmade tile and they give off a warm Italian energy to me. Maybe, maybe not.;)  Both tiles have cork feet to be a coaster and a place on back to hang as wall art. Very gently used and I’ve had them since the late eighties so that makes them vintage too. Each tile is approx 4″inch x 4″inch x almost 3/4″ thick and weigh almost (1) one pound each. You’ll love them. I have. 😉 No chips, no cracks and no repairs. Gently used condition. Rare Find of the Week …

Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn. Then, always be a unicorn. – Jaime Murray

Unicorn Vintage Brinns Ceramics
Rare Find of the Day – Vintage Brinn’s Ceramic Unicorn Figurine that may be from the 60’s or 70’s and after researching vintage Brinn’s, I couldn’t find another one so … I presume that it’s a rare unicorn that I found. 😉 Beautiful colors in iridescent shades of white, pink, blue, yellow and green with a shiny gold horn. No chips, no crack, no repairs, some shelf markings and a few little rough spots can be felt on the tip of the ears and the horn but it’s not damage just age. Magical. The unicorn figurine is approximately 4 1/2 inch base, 5 1/2″ from back of base to unicorns nose and 6 3/4 inches from base to the tip of the golden horn. Colors vary from monitors to real life. 😉 Gently used condition. Click on image to view listing.

If it were that simple …

It was fun going through the first trailer load of storage locker stuff. The second trailer load was less fun.  OMG. The third trailer load was exhausting and we’re only 1/4 of the way there. OMG.
vintage-sale

Try to remind myself of the surprises in every box … and there are … like finding – a much more extensive than I recall – vintage dial telephone collection – soon to be posted for sale.  Did I say, OMG!? vintage-telephonesSo far, so good with my intention to list one item for sale each day on our Etsy Shop …   I just posted a Sunny Sky vintage soda pop bottle with the original vintage bottle cap at the shop.

vintage-soda-pop-bottlesIt’s the little things … I can’t care if the end of this purge takes a lot longer than I’d like it to … what really matters is that I’ve gotten to admire an empty trailer bed 3 times!  Woo Hoo! Gold Star!
