“What is happening to me happens to all fruits that grow ripe. It is the honey in my veins that makes my blood thicker, and my soul quieter.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche … especially if I’m lucky enough to have the right size box and bubble wrap. 😉
The shop is in full swing and I’m on pace to sell and/or donate at least 1/2 of one storage locker. Woo hoooo! Thank you to all who have stopped and shopped!
Recently listed this gorgeous pair of tile pears. My original idea was to glue them on to something but that was decades ago. They may be handmade Italian pottery – maybe not – and they can be used as drink coasters or wall art. Click 2 Browse the Shop Here or scroll down for more exciting new listings.
Rare Find of the Week …
Always be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn. Then, always be a unicorn. – Jaime Murray
This glorious vintage window was found in Orange, California. Cleaned up the window with vinegar and water, did not sand the frame and double checked that the window was sturdy enough to hold the weight of the ton o’glass I would need to complete the piece.
After playing with adhesives for glass, clear e6000 adhesive is my go-to … unfortunately it’s a toxic adhesive with an overwhelming odor so windows need to be open with no kids and/or pets present.
Since most of the box stores, hardware stores, Michael’s, Target and Walmart carry clear e6000 adhesive it’s pretty easy to find.
All the pieces fell into place quite nicely, it’s a keeper.
